Wood Craft puzzles are cut from plywood in irregular shapes, with a set of figure pieces hidden in every box and a decorative pattern printed on the reverse. The finished picture is not a rectangle.
See the whole Wood range →A different object to a cardboard puzzle, and it behaves differently on the table.
Irregular wooden elements with a satisfying weight and a snap you can hear. They do not curl, crease or wear at the edges.
Every box hides a set of shaped figures among the ordinary pieces, themed to the artwork. Finding them is half the fun.
The back of the puzzle carries its own printed pattern, so the finished piece reads as an object rather than a blank board.
Pieces come in a paper bag inside a cardboard box. No film, no plastic tray.
The pieces are thicker and hold their position, so you can nudge a section without it drifting apart. The irregular cut means fewer obvious edge pieces, which makes the start harder and the middle more interesting.
Shaped elements cut to recognisable silhouettes and mixed in with the rest. They are themed to the picture, and finding them as you build is part of the design rather than a novelty.
Wooden pieces hold together well enough to move and display without glue. If you do want it permanent, glue the back rather than the face so the printed reverse takes the adhesive.
Contact our customer service team with the item number printed on the side of the box and we will go through the options with you. Replacement pieces are not available for every title, so we will tell you honestly what we can do rather than promise a piece that does not exist.
